Ducati India Price Hike: What Buyers Need to Know Before June 1, 2026

If you have been dreaming of bringing home an iconic Italian superbike this year, you might want to finalize your purchase decision before the summer arrives. Luxury motorcycle brand Ducati has officially announced a price increase on select models from its range in India. The new pricing will apply to the ex-showroom prices and is set to take effect from June 1, 2026.

This strategic move comes amidst a dynamic economic environment, and potential buyers are urged to take note of how this will impact the final on-road costs of their favorite Ducati models.

Why is Ducati Increasing Prices in India?

The global automotive sector continues to navigate complex supply chain dynamics and shifting economic realities. According to the official announcement made in New Delhi on April 16, 2026, the primary catalysts for this adjustment are macroeconomic factors.

Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India, provided clarity on the situation. He stated that this price correction is due to an increase in operational costs driven by overall inflation and rising commodity prices. He further emphasized that this move will be introduced across selected models from the Ducati range while maintaining the brand’s luxury positioning in the premium motorcycle segment.

Applicability Across the Dealership Network

Buyers across the country should be aware that the price hike will apply to select models across all Ducati dealers in India. The updated pricing structure will be implemented across all official Ducati dealerships in New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.

Popular Ducati Models in India and Expected Price Impact

Ducati boasts a diverse portfolio in India, catering to various riding styles—from track-focused superbikes and versatile adventure tourers to stylish streetfighters and neo-retro scramblers. Models like the Panigale V4, Multistrada V4, and the approachable Scrambler series consistently dominate the sales charts for the brand.

While the exact percentage of the price increment for each specific model has not been explicitly detailed yet, a standard industry hike typically ranges from 1.5% to 3% of the ex-showroom cost. Below is a look at the current ex-showroom prices of the top 5 popular Ducati models in India, alongside an estimated projection of what the revised prices might look like after the June 1 hike.

Old Price vs. Estimated New Price for Top 5 Models

(Note: The estimated new prices are speculative calculations based on typical industry pricing trends. Exact pricing will be confirmed by Ducati India dealerships closer to the June 1, 2026 implementation date.)

An Eventful 2026: Slew of New Product Launches

Despite the upcoming price increment, 2026 is set to be an eventful year for Ducati, with a slew of new product launches planned. The Italian manufacturer is aggressively expanding its footprint across multiple motorcycle segments.

Ducati has already entered a new segment by launching the Desmo450 MX in March 2026. Furthermore, in April, the highly anticipated Panigale V4 Lamborghini will arrive in India as a rare collectible.

The momentum will not stop there. The launch calendar for the rest of the year is packed. This will be followed by the all-new Monster V2, Hypermotard V2, DesertX V2, the new Multistrada V4 Rally, and Corse Editions of both the Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4 ranges—all scheduled for launch before the year-end.

For elite collectors, the Superleggera V4 Centenario will also come to India in very limited units, all of which are already pre-booked.

Enhancing the After-Sales Network

In tandem with its aggressive product strategy, Ducati is heavily investing in customer experience and servicing. To better serve its growing community of riders, the company has taken a novel approach to its after-sales infrastructure.

This year, Ducati India also inaugurated its first-of-its-kind Service-Only Workshops in key locations such as Goa and Ahmedabad to further strengthen the brand’s after-sales network. These specialized service centers guarantee top-tier maintenance and repair. These workshops are Ducati-authorized and employ Ducati-trained technicians and staff, like a Ducati-authorized 3S facility in the country.
