New Chevrolet Intelli Beat launch in July 2017
Chevrolet will be launching the all new Intelli Beat in the month of July 2017. The PR for Chevrolet India has confirmed that the company will be launching the new Intelli Beat in India but has refused to share the actual launch date in July. The launch news broke out when a memo from marketing team at Chevrolet informing its dealers and sales team about the Chevrolet Beat’s debut in India in July got leaked. Intelli Beat is the next generation Beat hatchback from Chevrolet for Indian market and was showcased in a crossover and a compact sedan form at the 2016 Auto Expo.
As per the contents in the memo, the 2nd generation Chevrolet Beat will be called as Intelli Beat. What differentiates Intelli Beat from older Beat is the new face that has been derived from international variant of Chevrolet Spark, the company’s smallest car which is on sale.
The side and rear profile of the Intelli Beat shall remain very much unchanged from the existing car which is actually unique. The all new 2017 Chevrolet Intelli Beat will be getting a touchscreen infotainment system (Chevrolet MyLink 2) which has support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Intelli Beat will retain car’s M300 platform to keep the price of the car lower. The all new Intelli Beat from Chevrolet will be powered by 1.2-litre petrol engine as well as 1.0-litre diesel engine. The engine will be mated to 5-speed manual gearbox.
The all new Intelli Beat from Chevrolet will take on its rivals like Maruti Celerio, Tata Tiago and Hyundai Grand i10.
