Skoda Octavia Facelift Launch in India on 13th July
Skoda India is all set to launch the facelift version of Octavia in India on 13th July 2017. The all new facelift version of Octavia gets a restyled nose that gets a branded new quad headlamp arrangement. Expect Skoda Octavia’s top trim will be getting adaptive, full-LED lighting with an auto high-beam function. The facelift version of Skoda Octavia gets a minor styling tweaks like reworked bonnet and revised bumpers.
The Skoda Octavia facelift gets some of the top-of-the-line features and equipments like hands-free parking, panoramic sunroof along with remote operation, Twelve-way electric-adjust driver seat with memory, touchscreen infotainment system with SmartLink smartphone integration, reverse-parking camera and navigation etc.
When it comes to interior, the basic design of Skoda Octavia’s dashboard remains similar to that of outgoing car, but with a few notable tweaks. Skoda Octavia facelift would get choice of larger 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes with physical buttons on the old 6.0-inch display being replaced by touch buttons. The all new Octavia will be powered by 3-different engine options.
If you are looking for more powerful Octavia, you might want to wait till this Diwali for the Octavia vRS which shall sport new quad headlight design from the facelift. The Indian variant of Skodia Octavia vRS features a powerful 230hp, 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine.
The Octavia facelift would be getting a more aggressive body kit, blacked-out trim bits and larger alloy wheels in order to make it look different from the regular version of Octavia. An updated suspension setup will also be part of the package.
The facelift version of Skoda Octavia facelift will rival against the likes of Toyota Corolla Altis and the new Hyundai Elantra.
