All New 2017 Yamaha Bikes upgraded to BS4 Engine and AHO
India Yamaha Motor, Indian arm of Japanese two wheeler maker – Yamaha in an official statement announced that its entire range of bikes and scooters are now compliant to BS4 emission standards. Along with BS4 engine, these Yamaha scooters will also feature AHO (Automatic Headlamp On) feature that improves the visibility of bikes. As per the law, every two wheeler manufacturer in India has to sell bikes that are BS4 compliant and which has AHO feature built-in. Supreme court has imposed ban on all BS3 bikes – No manufacturer can sell bikes with BS3 engine from 1st April 2017 onwards.

Yamaha has already updated its Saluto motorcycles to comply with BS4 norms.

Even the entire Yamaha India ‘s scooter range has been updated to BS4 compliant engine and AHO feature:
Mr Roy Kurian who is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Yamaha Motor India said in a statement:
The new Yamaha motorcycle and scooter variants with extra style and advanced BS4 compliant engine offers more value to the aspirational customers
The new variants also get the Auto Headlamp-On (AHO) feature, which the government has made mandatory for all two wheelers in the country

The launch of new variants for all scooter and motorcycle models is in line with Yamaha’s promise to constantly delight the customers illustrating how the market has responded to company’s products
