Datsun teases upcoming Redi-GO hatchback; Launch on April 14
There is going to be a new hatchback launch from Datsun on April 14th. The stage has been set and Datsun India has released teaser for Redi-GO.

While the launch of Redi-GO is expected to happen on April 14, Nissan’s Dastun has not officially confirmed the name of this upcoming hatchback to be Datsun Redi-GO yet. All we know at this point in time is that the Datsun is going to competitively price the hatchback to take on Renault Kwid, the entry level SUV like hatchback which is creating waves across India.
Datsun Redi-GO was first displayed in India as a concept form during the Delhi Auto Expo event which happened in the month of February. On April 14, the company is going to make a global debut of Redi-Go, the car is expected to get all the SUV like features, more details are awaited.
Talking about the exterior design, the all new Datsun Redi-Go will be getting a new front fascia with new grille and stylish headlamps. Redi-GO would also receive a new front bumper with fog lamps and a hood that as seen in Datsun GO+ MPV.
Datsun Redi-GO is going to be based on CMF-A platform which is used in Renault Kwid. There are reports from trusted sources that the car will be offered in both petrol as well as diesel engine variants. The petrol variant of Datsun Redi-GO will be powered by 800cc, 3 cylinder petrol engine delivering a power of 54PS and maximum torque of 72Nm. Redi-GO’s diesel offering might get 1,0 litre, 3 cylinder engine.
