Ford piles hopes on Ford Figo Aspire; Expects it to be a big success
In an interview to BusinessLine, Ford has expressed that its upcoming Figo Aspire can change fortunes of the company. Ford is expecting Figo Aspire to outperform its other popular portfolio cars like Ford Figo Hatchback and Ford EcoSport.
Speaking to BusinessLine, Mr Umashankar who is serving as the Vice President at Customer Service Operations department of Ford said that the company is looking to further elevate its growth by introducing new models and delighting its customers through quality ownership experience.
He added,
We expect Figo Aspire to generate a lot more interest than what we had achieved with the introduction of Figo hatch and Ford Ecosport our compact SUV. And as we come out with new models in segments where we have not been present earlier, the volumes are likely to increase
In order to satisfy its customers, Ford has taken many initiatives and programs to bring cost of ownership down and also to enable them to get their car serviced for as low as Rs 2199 said Mr Umashankar.
Ford Figo Aspire’s What Drives You campaign
As of now, Ford is running the 10-week-long road show across 25 different cities in India. We have much talked about the What Drives You campaign which aims to discover the values and aspirations which are driving the modern India. The campaign is Led by actor Farhan Akhtar, and looks to target young audience and enterprising Indians.
Ford said both the 1.5 litre TDCi diesel and 1.2 litre TiVCT petrol engine-powered Figo Aspire shall offer a compelling mix of performance, refinement as well as the-all-important fuel efficiency.
