Honda 2 Wheelers November 2015 Sales Report
India’s 2 largest 2 wheeler maker, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Limited (HMSIL) today published the sales report for the month of November.
Talking about the market share, the HMSI YTD Domestic market share is 26%, while YTD Domestic and Export market share is 24% (which is 1% up). Honda has grown 3 percent in April to November period on Year-on-Year basis against 0% industry growth.
The festival sales has worked very well for Honda Motorcycles: Backed by overwhelming festive demand, Honda retails has grown 68% and has crossed the 5 lakh mark in November 2015
Honda Motorcycles has set a new record of Ever Highest retails crossing 2.2 lakh units in 1 day units on Dhanteras with 33% growth. Many models like Honda Activa in scooters and Honda Livo in motorcycle were out of stock at many dealerships in India
Honda dispatches at 3.26 lakh units in November 2015 on account of a planned 3 day plant maintenance shut down
