Tata Motors, with the launch of its car, Tata Zest, has become the new hot favourite in the market of sedans in the country. The past month has been the second since its launch when it has outperformed the famous Honda Amaze in terms of sale.
It must be noted that Tata Motors launched this sedan in the month of August. In the month of October, Tata Zest beat the sales of Honda Amaze and the same continued in November with the sale of 3,835 units of Zest as compared to 3,310 units of Honda Amaze.
Tata Zest is available with a petrol as well as a diesel variant. The petrol variant comes with a 1.2L Revotron engine churning out 88.73 bhp of power, and a torque equivalent to 140 Nm. The diesel variant has a 1.3L multijet engine, which can produce a power of 88.8 bhp and a torque of 200 Nm.
The sales of Tata Zest have kept on setting new milestones ever since its launch. There has been a 9% increase in month-on-month sales of this sedan, whereas the month-on-month sale of Honda Amaze is declining by 5%.
