Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI)’s 650cc middle weight sports model, first of company’s premium ‘Make-in-India’ tourer motorcycles and the much awaited bike of the year – Honda CBR 650F has been launched today in India. The new Honda CBR650F is packed with sleek features, sporty style, 16 valve DOHC in-line 4 cylinder, 6-speed gearbox engine which can be enjoyed for wide variety of uses including touring and sports riding.

Features and Highlights of Honda CBR 650F

High Class compact Engine

This super bike by Honda has 649cc 16-valve inline 4 cylinder engine which delivers a smooth and great performance even at lowest RPM like 4000. CBR 650F’s engine has been best tuned to churn out a maximum power of 64kW @ 11000 rpm. Bike’s unique programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) works with information from 4 separate throttle body sensors on 32mm throttle bores for better, crisp and very accurate throttle response.

Pure racing spirit -> Double overhead camshaft engine provides (DOHC)

Honda CBR 650F’s Double Overhead Camshaft (DOHC) gives precise power as well as the pick up in line with Honda’s 60 years of pure racing legacy. The 16 valves present in the engine are placed in V-shape in DOHC layout providing space to place the spark plug right in the middle at the top of piston which improves combustion rate.

Inside the Beast -> Twin Spar Steel Frame

The strong yet lightweight frame present in this bike easily accommodates all engine parts to maintain that desired compactness. The steel frame of the bike provides comfort against bad roads in everyday street riding.

Pure Digital Electronics -> Honda Ignition Security System (H.I.S.S)

Honda CBR 650F comes with Honda Ignition Security System (H.I.S.S) – a proprietary electronic anti-theft device which automatically disables the engine starting with the help of electronic control. The moment rider removes the ignition key – H.I.S.S. system switches-on; providing an effective amulet to ward off theft.

Pure Digital Electronics -> Digital Meter Console

The bike comes with a well-articulated meter that is styled to accentuate the sports look of Honda CBR 650F. It also displays crystal clear information on the go with major highlights such as Digital Speedometer, Digital Bar Tachometer, Dual Trip Meter, Digital Bar Fuel Gauge and also a Digital Clock.
