Country’s 2nd largest Two wheeler manufacturer, Honda 2 Wheelers India Today will be launching their first ever BS6 engine powered Honda Shine SP 125 motorcycle in India. The all new Honda Shine SP BS6 will comply to new mandatory BS6 emission norms imposed by Government of India.
The all new BS6 compliant Shine SP motorcycle is expected to cost Rs 6000 to Rs 8000 higher than the outgoing BS4 Shine SP. The new redesigned BS6 engine for Honda Shine SP will have a engine capacity of 125cc like its predecessor. Very recently, Honda 2 Wheelers India launched BS6 engine powered Activa 125 scooter and has also started deliveries across the nation.
Honda Shine SP BS6 Engine and Features
Talking about the power figures, the 2020 model Honda Shine SP BS6 will produce a 10.88 PS of maximum power. New Shine SP BS6 motorcycle will be getting some of the first-in-industry features like ACG Starter motor, idle start -stop system and automatic engine shutoff on side stand down condition.
Honda Shine SP BS6 Dimensions
The BS6 engine powered Honda Shine SP motorcycle will have some changes in its dimensions and weight. The length of Shine SP BS6 will be 13mm more, width of bike will increase by 23mm, and height of motorcycle will increase by 18mm. The all new updated Honda Shine SP might get advanced features like fully digital instrument cluster and LED headlamps.
Honda Shine SP BS6 Price
The ex-showroom price of BS6 Honda Shine BS6 model for the base variant is expected to be Rs 71,500 and the disc brake version of Shine SP BS6 to be priced Rs 77,500 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
We expect Honda 2 Wheelers to launch Honda Shine BS6 along with Shine SP BS6.
