Hyundai Creta Knight Edition launched at Rs 13.51 lakhs

Encapsulating a new statement in black, the new Hyundai CRETA Knight Edition will be offered on a new S+ trim (MT Only) as well as the fully loaded SX (O) trim (IVT/AT Only) available with 1.5 l MPi petrol and 1.5 l U2 CRDi diesel engine options.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd, country’s First Smart Mobility Solutions Provider and the largest exporter since inception, today launched the new CRETA Knight Edition with prices starting at Rs 13,51,200 (ex-showroom). Celebrating the success of Hyundai as India’s No.1 SUV brand in 2021, the new CRETA Knight Edition stands testament as India’s highest selling SUVs of 2021 – CRETA that has been at the vanguard of SUV segment sales for many years.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said

Encapsulating a new statement in black, the new CRETA Knight Edition will be offered on a new S+ trim (MT Only) as well as the fully loaded SX (O) trim (IVT/AT Only) available with 1.5 l MPi petrol and 1.5 l U2 CRDi diesel engine options. Making a bold statement to the Hyundai SUV legacy, the new CRETA Knight Edition has been aesthetically enhanced to epitomize the opulence and respect commanded by the colour black, featuring bold and valiant exterior styling with:

CRETA Knight Edition has been packaged to offer customers a heightened Ultimate SUV experience with standard delight features such as Smart Panoramic Sunroof, Trio beam LED Headlamps and Crescent glow LED DRL. Additionally, the new CRETA Knight Edition will elevate sporty and exciting in car experiences with the application of all black interiors with coloured AC vent inserts; coloured stitching/ piping for steering wheel and seats to add a sporty yet exclusive in cabin experience. 

MY 2022 Updates

Hyundai will also introduce multiple feature changes to the MY’22 CRETA that include fitment of Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (Highline) as standard across trims and offers Glossy Black Centre Console on SX (O) Trims, along with introduction of new Denim Blue color. Further, the company will introduce the highly innovative iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission) on the CRETA 1.5 l Petrol S Trim to enhance customer choices across a spectrum of powertrain options. Now, the 2022 CRETA powered by 1.4 l T-GDi petrol engine with 7DCT will also be available on a new an S+ variant with multiple additional features over the S Trim; including:

  • Smart Panoramic Sunroof
  • R16 (D=405.6 mm) Black Alloy Wheels
  • Smartphone Wireless Charger
  • Rear Disc Brakes
  • Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
  • Vehicle Stability Management (VSM)
  • Hill start assist control (HAC)
  • Paddle Shifters 
  • Metal Pedals
  • ORVM Electric Folding + Auto Fold
  • Power Window Auto up/down
