Kia India, a leading mass-premium automaker, has taken a significant step in advancing electric mobility by developing a robust and integrated EV ecosystem for its customers. This initiative arrives ahead of the upcoming launch of Kia’s first made-in-India EV, the Carens Clavis EV. The company designed this ecosystem to make EV ownership seamless, worry-free, and practical for Kia buyers across India.
Kia will launch the Carens Clavis EV via a webcast at 12:00 hrs on July 15.

Mr. Joonsu Cho, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India, commented on the announcement. He stated,
“Our focus has always been on delivering innovation that makes a real difference. With our comprehensive EV ecosystem now in place, we are empowering customers to experience electric mobility with ease and confidence.”
He added,
“This strong foundation allows us to support the next wave of EV adoption across the country, making electric driving practical, reliable, and accessible for all.”
K-Charge: Your Seamless Charging Companion
To address common concerns of EV ownership, Kia India developed the K-Charge platform. This platform integrates seamlessly within the MyKia app, providing access to a fast-growing network of over 11,000 charging points across India. Kia has partnered with 18 leading Charge Point Operators (CPOs) to achieve this extensive coverage. The network spans both urban and highway routes, supporting daily commutes and long-distance travel.
Furthermore, the K-Charge feature offers live charger availability and route planning directly through the MyKia app. This streamlines payment options, eliminating the need for multiple third-party apps and simplifying the charging experience. Kia India plans to enhance K-Charge access to over 20,000 charging points by mid-2026.
Comprehensive Service & Home Charging Solutions
Strengthening this ecosystem, Kia has established a dedicated network of over 250 EV-ready workshops nationwide. These workshops are equipped with specialized tools, equipment, and trained EV technicians. Over 100 Kia dealerships already feature DC Fast Chargers, ranging from 60kW to 240kW, ensuring quick charging during routine visits.
Additionally, Kia offers advanced home charging solutions. These include support for both 7.4kW and 11kW AC chargers. This provides flexible and efficient at-home charging options that surpass most mass-market EV offerings in India.
By interlinking advanced vehicles, a comprehensive charging network, digital solutions, and customer-first service, Kia India is setting new benchmarks for electric mobility. The company aims to make its EV ecosystem more than just infrastructure; it is a complete experience designed to offer confidence, convenience, and sustainability for everyone.
