Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) has announced the launch of new Mahindra Inferno, luxury SUV, codenamed Y400. The all new Mahindra Inferno will be officially launched on November 19, 2018. This luxury SUV which directly competes against the Toyota Fortuner is based on Rexton G4 SUV.
New Mahindra Inferno Launch –
Speaking on the announcement, Rajan Wadhera, President – Automotive Sector, M&M Ltd. said,
The all new Mahindra Inferno is one of the most eagerly anticipated launches of this year. Positioned in the high-end SUV segment, the Inferno is a high-end, full sized SUV that offers luxury and exclusivity in its tasteful design, lavish interiors, thrilling performance and best in class features. We are sure that it will further enhance our SUV portfolio.
The Mahindra Inferno (Y400 codename) will be under the Mahindra brand and will be exclusively available through a separate high-end showroom within the existing ‘World of SUVs” dealerships which have been created with the objective to redefine customer experience, with regards to both sales and after sales. These outlets will be equipped with ultra-modern digital technology to provide an enhanced and immersive high-end experience for customers.
New Mahindra Inferno Price and Availability
The price of Mahindra Inferno SUV is expected to be between Rs 22 Lakhs to 28 Lakhs in India.
The all new Mahindra Inferno SUV will be manufactured in company’s state-of-the-art automotive plant at Chakan, Maharashtra.
Earlier, Mahindra Inferno was expected to be launched in the name of XUV 700;
