‘Mobility to Delight’ – Customer Initiative
Mercedes-Benz India is redefining customer experience in the luxury auto industry by introducing “Mobility to Delight.”
Mobility to Delight aims to provide customers with a seamless and delightful mobility solution while their vehicles are being serviced. Under this program, customers can receive ‘Mobility Support*’ if their vehicle is in our authorized workshop for over 3 working days, with the required customer approvals. This support is available during the standard 3-year warranty period for Periodic Maintenance (PM) and General Repair (GR), in line with the program’s terms and conditions.
The Mobility support would be in form of a courtesy vehicle of any Mercedes-Benz model subject to availability at that point in time with the authorized dealership wherein the customer has given the vehicle for maintenance or general repairs.

B U Bhandari – New Luxury Facility in Pune
The Mercedes-Benz BU Bhandari Showroom in Pune is the latest addition to Mercedes-Benz’s growing footprint of world-class luxury facilities across the country. Such luxurious modern dealerships have become luxury destination in key markets like Delhi NCR, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Chandigarh, and Coimbatore among others. This new boutique facility in Pune represents Mercedes-Benz’s world-class luxurious retail format, which aims at elevating customer experience through personalized and immersive experiences. AMG 2.0-litre four-cylinder with electric exhaust turbocharger
- The heart of the new Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupé models is the AMG 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, with an electric turbocharger that combines innovative technologies and high performance with exemplary efficiency. The engine remains true to a tradition typical of the brand: it was not only completely developed at the company’s Affalterbach location but is also manufactured there in manufactory quality according to the “One Man, One Engine” principle. Mercedes-AMG combines the craftsmanship of its highly qualified employees with the most modern production methods of Industry 4.0 and a high level of digitalization.
- The engine, known internally as M139l (l for longitudinal installation), is so far the only series engine in the world that is charged with an electric exhaust gas turbocharger via the additional 48-volt on-board electrical system, which also includes the belt-driven starter generator (RSG). The system is a direct derivative of the technology that the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team has successfully used in the premier class of motorsport for many years. The new form of charging guarantees particularly spontaneous response across the entire speed range. This leads to an even more dynamic driving experience and at the same time increases efficiency.

Three-stage AMG speed-sensitive steering and standard rear-axle steering
- The steering layout contributes to increasing dynamics and comfort. The three-stage AMG parameter steering has a variable steering geometry ratio that adapts to the driving programme selected. Active rear-axle steering is also standard. Rear axle steering with a maximum steering angle of 2.5° provides noticeably more agility during sporty driving maneuvers.
AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission with wet starting clutch
- AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission in which a wet starting clutch replaces the torque converter. The elaborately coordinated software ensures extremely short switching times and, if necessary, quick multiple downshifts. In addition, the double-declutching function in the “Sport” and “Sport+” driving programmes delivers a particularly expressive shifting experience. The RACE START function is also applied, which guarantees optimal acceleration from a standstill. In the “Comfort” driving programme, the ECO start/stop function is activated automatically, the “Coasting” function can be activated in “Individual”. In the GLC 43 4MATIC, all-wheel drive has a permanent power distribution between the front and rear axles of 31 to 69 percent for higher driving dynamics and improved traction.
AMG DYNAMIC SELECT
- The 5 AMG DYNAMIC SELECT driving programmes for the GLC 43 enable a wide range of vehicle characteristics from comfortable to dynamic. The individual driving programmes offer an individual driving experience, precisely tailored to different driving conditions. The “SPORT” and “SPORT+” drive programs are designed for dynamic handling, where the engine’s response, the gearshift behavior of the transmission and the tuning of the suspension and steering are particularly sporty.
AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with adaptive damping adjustment
- AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé is equipped with the AMG RIDE CONTROL steel spring suspension with adaptive damping adjustment. It combines sporty driving dynamics with high long-distance comfort.
AMG sports brake system
- The AMG sports brake system guarantees outstanding deceleration values and the best controllability in the GLC 43. Internally ventilated and perforated brake discs measuring 370 x 36 millimeters with 4-piston fixed calipers are mounted on the front axle, and 360 x 24 millimeters at the rear with 1-piston floating calipers.

Dynamic and comfortable driving experience with a powerful, top-of-the-range six-cylinder engine
- The new CLE Cabriolet enables driving pleasure on winding roads as well as offers exceptional ride comfort on long journeys. The AMG Sports suspension, which has been lowered by 15 millimetres, is fitted as standard. The DYNAMIC SELECT switch gives the driver a choice between a comfortable or firmer, sportier setup.
Interior Design
- The interior of the CLE Cabriolet features a freestanding 12.3-inch digital driver display and 11.9-inch driver-oriented central display in portrait format. Another highlight of the interior is the dynamic ambient lighting, further complimented with the chrome trim accents that span the entire passenger compartment. A special coating on the available leather upholstery enables seat surfaces to remain cooler in direct sunlight by up to 53 degrees Fahrenheit compared to untreated leather. The front seats developed exclusively for the CLE have an integral sports seat design. In conjunction with the Burmester® 3D surround sound system, they each have two loudspeakers level with the head restraints.
Exterior design
- The CLE Cabriolet features a powerful, athletic exterior – from the aerodynamic “shark nose” front end to the seamless rear design. The forward-leaning front end with low-slung hood and unique flat LED headlights lead to a newly designed, three-dimensional chrome grille with a Mercedes-Benz pattern. A highlight at the rear of the vehicle is the two-part LED taillights with new contours and three-dimensional light bodies.
MBUX infotainment
- The latest generation MBUX infotainment offers an expandable portfolio of in-car apps, as well as the new Routines function, which enables customers to personalize the CLE to their habits by automating comfort features. You can choose from templates for standard routines, including “Cold Days,” which turns seat heating on when a certain ambient outdoor temperature is reached, as well as create new routines by linking several comfort functions and conditions via the central display.
Engine
- The CLE 300 4MATIC is fitted with a 2.0-liter Inline-4 turbocharged engine. The 48-volt mild hybrid powertrains deliver a smooth, powerful driving experience. An integrated starter-generator (ISG) provides support at lower engine speeds, in addition to gliding and recuperation functions.
Open-air fun any time of year
- The AIRCAP® electric wind deflector system and the AIRSCARF® headroom heating system are standard equipment. Both systems have been further developed. AIRCAP® consists of two elements: the wind deflector on the windscreen directs airflow over the occupants’ heads. It extends at the touch of a button. The automatic wind deflector behind the rear head restraints reduces turbulence more efficiently. AIRSCARF® produces even warmer airflow around the necks and throats of front-seat occupants – even in unfavorable wind conditions.
- The standard-fit fabric acoustic soft top also contributes to the year-round usability of the CLE Cabriolet. The soft top opens and closes within 20 seconds up to a road speed of 60 km/h. For the first time, it is powered exclusively by electricity, making it even quieter. The standard-fit powered roller divider automatically separates the folded soft top from the remaining luggage compartment.
Extensive safety equipment: the first Mercedes-Benz Cabriolet with separate head airbag for rear passengers
- The CLE Cabriolet meets all high internal safety requirements, specifically the reinforced bodyshell structures, the rollover protection system. The comprehensive standard safety equipment includes 10 airbags with a new centre airbag between the two front occupants. The PRE-SAFE® system, which can prepare the occupants and the vehicle for an imminent collision, also comes as standard. Numerous driving assistance systems, some of which have been further developed, can support drivers and thus relieve them. The standard equipment includes ATTENTION ASSIST, Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Speed Limit Assist and the Parking package with a reversing camera. The Driving Assistance Plus package is available as an option. It includes more than 10 latest-generation assistance and safety systems. New safety features include the centre airbag between the two front seats and, for the first time in a Mercedes-Benz Cabriolet, a head protection system with two separate head airbags for the rear passengers.
