The name of the upcoming SUV from MG Motor India has been officially revealed. Starting Mid 2019, The all new China based Car maker – MG Motor will be aggressively entering India market through a new SUV model called “MG Hector“. A teaser containing the all new MG Hector SUV reveals the entire car in camouflage. The car’s protruded front side DRL (Day-time running Lamps) looks prominent in the video.
MG Hector – This new car from new Manufacturer can pose a serious threat to Tata Motors’ hot premium SUV Harrier. The Hector SUV will target the premium SUV segment in India – Cars like Jeep compass, Tata Harrier, Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster belong to this premium SUV category.
The all new upcoming MG Hector SUV is expected to be offered in 2 engine options – 1.5 litre petrol and 2.0 litre petrol.

Mg Motor India will be offering some of the sophisticated features on its upcoming Hector SUV. The MG Hector shall include features like leather powered seats, a panoramic sunroof, electronic handbrake and cruise control in the top-end trims.
Some of the advanced safety features like dual airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), rear parking sensors and a speed alarm is also expected in the teased car.
