Time to say Goodbye to Nissan Teana as Nissan Discontinues this model due to poor sales in India. This marks third discontinuation after the Nissan 370Z and Nissan X-Trail.
Reason for Discontinuing the Nissan Teana
- Poor Sales
- Strong Competition in the D-Segment
- Combo Twin fail. Both Nissan X-Trail and Teana never made a good combination
- Bad Timing of introducing Teana to Indian Market when Honda Accord was having its ride.
- Customers wanted diesel engine variant which Teana didn’t have
Only 15 units of Teana were sold last year (2014). Nissan is now concentrating in the lower-end market.
