Renault Kwid 1.0L RXT Price announced: INR 3.82 Lakhs

In an exclusive launch event in Delhi, Renault introduced the much awaited 1.0 litre Kwid. Renault, being one of the fastest growing car manufacturers already boasts of gaining 4.5% marketshare in car industry in the country. Thanks to Duster and Kwid, the duo has succeeded in making Renault a strong brand.

To further strengthen its line up, Renault India has launched the new Kwid 1.0-litre engine (Sce). The just launched Renault Kwid 1.0-litre is made available in 2 variants — RxT, which costs INR 3,82,776 and the RxT(O), which costs INR 3,95,776 (ex-showroom Delhi price). What differentiates Renault Kwid 1 litre engine from the 800cc variant is the decals on the door and dual tone ORVMs.

Renault Kwid Sce 1Litre Power, Transmission and Mileage

What powers 1.0-litre Renault Kwid is a 993cc, three-cylinder engine. This 1 litre engine produces a maximum power of 67bhp and 91Nm of torque. The new Kwid’s engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox, and very soon the company will be introducing the AMT version of Kwid as well.

When it comes to mileage, The 1 litre Kwid promises to deliver a mileage of upto 23.01 Kmpl.

Renault Kwid 1.0-litre version is only available for top variants like RXT and RXT(O). The price of Kwid 1L is Rs 22,000 costlier than the 800cc versions of RXT and RXT(O). As it is a top variant, Renault Kwid gets all the tech features like an all digital instrument console, navigation with touch screen infotainment, gearshift indicator, cladding, as well as central locking system.

The bootspace of new Renault Kwid 1.0L is 300 litres and it also gets a ground clearance of 180mm.

Talking about the safety options, the 1 litre engine variant of the Kwid gets an optional driver’s side airbag, seat belts with pretensioners and load limiter. The Kwid 1.0L misses on Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) feature.
