The first edition of Royal Enfield Slide School Cup India concluded on a thrilling note at the Royal Enfield Jaipur Track, today. The exhilarating championship which unfolded over a course of three months across Goa, Bengaluru, Pune and Jaipur, beginning at Motoverse 2024, witnessed the best of riders across the country battle it out on the purpose-built FT 411 Slide School motorcycles. The nation’s finest from regional rounds showcased their skills on the track and took the competition to the next level. Across five rounds, the championship delivered seven thrilling races filled with action and competitive spirit.

The adrenaline fuelled finale race concluded with a tie between Anish Shetty and Sathya Raj Arumugam with 39 points each. However, Anish Shetty was announced the champion as he won the third race of the final round. Sathya Raj Arumugam was therefore adjudged as the first runner-up followed by Karan Drishya who was the second runner-up with 29 points. Following the gruelling regional qualifiers, the finale weekend kicked off with an International Flat Track Masterclass by Gary Birtwistle, a celebrated flat track racer. The masterclass gave riders an opportunity to learn, develop and practice the tips and tricks shared by Gary Birtwistle before the final showdown.
The high-octane finale that ensued over the weekend was held at Royal Enfield’s Jaipur Track. The track has multiple zones specialised in different aspects from flat track racing, off-road riding and much more. The regional round in Jaipur and the final round of the Slide School Cup was held at the Slide Zone and the riders had the opportunity to ride at the track for the very first time.

The Slide School Cup arrived in India, following its exciting debut in Europe in 2024! This groundbreaking new Flat Track racing format takes our grassroots Slide School training program to the next level, giving Slide Schoolers an authentic racing experience with the thrill to go fast, turn left, and have endless fun. The Slide School Cup is designed to let riders put their skills to the test, enjoying the adrenaline rush and camaraderie of Flat Track racing, all while embracing the core Slide School spirit of learning and excitement.
The Slide School was launched in Rider Mania 2019 and has been growing steadily across the globe with over 10 Slide Schools across six countries including the UK, the USA, Thailand, India and Europe. With the aim of making motorsports more accessible for riders and enthusiasts, the Slide School Cup was introduced to transform the Slide School into a competitive racing platform. With over 12 competitors vying for the title in the Slide School Cup India, the competition was fierce and nail-biting throughout the course of seven races.

The Royal Enfield Jaipur Track is a state-of-the-art facility located at Kukas, on the outskirts of Jaipur in the RIICO Industrial Area, surrounded by the Aravallis and right on the Old National Highway No 8. The premises has been divided into four activity zones namely – Adventure Zone, Slide Zone, Technical Zone and Chill Zone, a lounge for the riders. In addition to the four zones, the facility also has ample parking, green spaces, a concrete track, and large surfaces for versatile use. The Royal Enfield Jaipur Track will be used for immersive experiences and riding training through Adventure School and Slide School programs in addition to being a Training Ground for the brand’s factory teams.
