Upcoming 2017 Royal Enfield Himalayan to get ABS and FI Engine
While Royal Enfield Himalayan has received both good and bad reviews from its riders, the company is now set to launch the ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and FI (Fuel-injected engine) for their upcoming new variant of Himalayan motorcycle.

A developing report found in Internet suggests that Royal Enfield is looking at adding new models to its Himalayan range. Firstly, Himalayan is expected to get the FI engine and ABS – that itself will open up new variants in the Himalayan range.
India’s 2 wheeler market is a huge market and these days there is a surge in number of people who are going after premium motorcycles. Royal Enfield essentially is looking to capture this market by providing more options for its customers.
There are lot of motorcycles in the market like Bajaj Dominar 400, KTM Duke 250, Yamaha FZ25 which gets advanced updated modern features. The move is aimed to be ready with the market, that is the reason for the upcoming FI, ABS powered Himalayan.

Royal Enfield introduced the Himalayan adventure touring motorcycle in India just before the commencement of Auto Expo 2016. Himalayan is powered by 411 cc 1-cylinder engine that generates maximum power of 24.5bhp and 32Nm of peak torque. Himalayan’s engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
