Upcoming Toyota Innova Crysta to get 2 powerful engines
Toyota Innova is one of the top selling MPVs (Multi Purpose Vehicle) in India and is the most preferred car by commercial taxi operators and large families.
Toyota is retiring the existing version of 2KD-FTV diesel engine and is introducing 2 new engine options for the upcoming Crysta model (The next generation Innova). The 2 new diesel engines are called 1GD-FTV and 2GD-FTV. In addition to improved fuel efficiency and more torque offered, these new engines will be less polluting as it produces pretty lesser NOX and are Euro-5 compliant as well.
Toyota Innova Crysta Engine Details
Lets talk about the newly introduced engines, the mightier 1GD-FTV is a 2,755cc, 4-cylinder engine which can produce a maximum power of 174 BHP and 360 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. This is available only for the top-end GX and ZX variants. This version will be perfect for a large family.
The all new 2GD-FTV whose engine capacity is 2,393cc, 4-cylinder unit produces 148 BHP of power and 343 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox.
