Volkswagen, Europe’s leading manufacturer organized the GTI experiential drive in Bengaluru for its customers. The drive over the weekend will witness participation from over 150 customers across the city giving them a unique opportunity to experience the Hottest Hatch on Indian roads– The GTI.
The drive engaged customers through a unique showcase of the power and safety features of the GTI. The participants received first-hand experience of the drive dynamics and technical features of the GTI with expert drivers on the specially created tracks at Meco Kartopia in Hennur Bagalur Road, Bengaluru.
Under the hood the machine comes equipped with a 1.8L 4-cylinder TSI engine mated with a 7-speed automatic DSG transmission producing a blistering 141 kW (192 PS) of raw power. The car is also armed with many safety features like ESC with driver steering recommendation, ABS, 6 Airbags, ASR, EDL and EDTC with many more. The GTI is the perfect combination of a safe and sporty chassis, agile and economic engine along with unique and timeless design.
