The all-electric Volvo EX30, a vehicle hailed as a game-changer, has officially arrived in India, with test drives now available at Martial Volvo Cars Karnataka in Bengaluru. The EX30 is Volvo’s smallest SUV, but it comes packed with big features and a bold ambition to deliver a premium driving experience that is both powerful and sustainable.

Described as a “Little Car, Big Heart,” the EX30 embodies sustainable luxury without compromise. Its interiors are crafted from recycled materials such as recycled denim and PET bottles, reflecting a meticulous and conscious design process.

The battery is covered by an 8-year/160,000 km warranty. When it comes to charging, the EX30 supports fast charging, capable of a full charge in approximately 7 hours using a home wall box charger or from 10-80% in about 28 minutes at a public DC fast charger.

Advanced ADAS Features for Enhanced Safety
True to Volvo’s legacy of safety, the EX30 comes standard with an advanced suite of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features. This includes Adaptive Cruise Control which helps maintain a set distance from the vehicle ahead. The car also offers Park Pilot Assist, a system that can handle both parallel and perpendicular parking manoeuvres for you. For active safety, the Lane Keeping Aid provides warnings and steering interventions to help prevent accidental lane departures. In addition, the Collision Mitigation Support system can send audio and visual alerts, or even automatically brake and steer, to help you avoid or mitigate collisions with other vehicles, pedestrians, or cyclists. The vehicle also includes Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with steer assist, Cross Traffic Alert with Brake Support, and a unique Driver Alert System that uses a special sensor to track eye and face movements to detect distracted or drowsy drivers.
