Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) a part of world’s leading 2 wheeler manufacturer Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan today announced the launch of Suzuki Gixxer SF ABS motorcycle in India. The ABS which is an acronym for Anti-lock Braking System is an advanced level of braking system used in a motor vehicle that protects rider from fatal accidents which happen through brake locking and skidding. The Gixxer SF from Suzuki is one of the popular and stylish motorcycle from Suzuki India targeted towards youth and mid-performance segment riders.
In an official statement Suzuki has revealed the availability of all new Suzuki Gixxer SF models across the Suzuki dealers in India.

Within the ABS version, Suzuki Gixxer SF motorcycle is available in 2 different variants:
- The Standard Carburated variant
- Fuel Injected (FI) variant

The all new Suzuki Gixxer SF ABS Price has been announced. The carburated standard version of Suzuki Gixxer SF ABS is priced at INR 95,499 (Ex-showroom, Delhi) and the fuel injected FI variant of Gixxer SF ABS is priced at INR 99,312 (Ex-showroom, Delhi).

The all new Gixxer SF ABS is launched in India in following two color variants:
- Metallic Trition Blue (YSF)
- Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Mat Black (KGL)

About ABS Technology used in Suzuki Gixxer SF
The ABS is a supplemental system that automatically controls the braking force more efficiently and avoids wheel lock-up in case of slippery road conditions, inconsistent road contours; or sudden braking. Besides ABS, the Gixxer SF advanced Fuel Injection Technology is equipped with 6 sensors that calculate the optimum amount of fuel to be injected for better combustion efficiency; offering customers better fuel efficiency and a more exciting ride.
Suzuki – Gearing up to acquire New Customers
With the launch of ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) version of Suzuki Gixxer SF, the company is eyeing at capturing the customers who seek 150cc category bikes that are sporty and performance oriented. Suzuki is doing heavy marketing for their motorcycles and scooters like Gixxer and Access 125 across cities like Bangalore to push their brand further.
