The Vitara Brezza is always in the news since its first ad teaser. The car created quite a lot of buzz when it was first showcased at Delhi Auto Expo 2016. And finally Vitara Brezza, the first-ever compact urban SUV has been launched by India’s leading car manufacturer – Maruti Suzuki. The Vitara Brezza has got a striking price point and the bookings are also opened today at the company’s huge 1799 strong dealer network across India.

With Vitara Brezza, Maruti Suzuki is now present across all critical segments of the passenger vehicle market.

What’s new in Vitara Brezza?

Vitara Brezza is a sub-compact SUV with a strong, masculine with raised stance and dynamic styling that brings style and glamour to country’s SUV landscape. Maruti Vitara Brezza is visually appealing; the bold and contemporary interiors of Vitara Brezza are complemented with a futuristic dashboard with a progressive meter cluster, resolute garnishing, sporty seats and versatile flip folding rear seats.

As reported earlier Vitara Brezza delivers an outstanding mileage of 24.3 km per litre which is actually highest in SUV category and 10 to 20 percent superior to existing models in the segment. By using the acclaimed DDiS 200 engine and first-of-its-kind features like intelligent battery management, Vitara Brezza stands tall on the promise of fuel efficiency and delivers the value for the customer.

The exteriors of Maruti Vitara Brezza have got a characteristic Dual colour scheme and also gets a unique floating roof, its interiors are high on practical, usable space, an advanced infotainment system and a host of other features.

‘Bull Horn’ shaped LED light guide in headlamps and rear combination lamps, projector headlamps with auto function ‘On/Off’, unique cockpit style instrument cluster with mood lights, large tyres and SMARTPLAY infotainment are some of the first-in-class features in Vitara Brezza.

While driver airbag is a standard on all variants, front passenger airbag and ABS with EBD is offered as an option from base variant onwards.

One of the key selling points for Vitara Brezza is the spacious cabin. Vitara Brezza offers maximum usable space with the right proportions. The compact engine room packaging leads to a roomier passenger cabin that offers comfortable ingress-egress and adequate leg room to the rear passenger.

The well-padded seat in the front offers a commanding driving position.

The overall layout of the vehicle offers excellent overall visibility for bumper to bumper urban traffic in India. With a height of 1640 mm, Vitara Brezza offers ample headroom that can easily accommodate occupants with various (at least 18 different) Indian head gears.

The large, 328 litre, boot is wide enough for easy access and comfortable handling of heavy and large luggage. The boot space can be extended with the unique flip folded seats and 60:40 rear split, maximizing the utility space.

The maximum power output of Vitara Brezza’s 1.3 litre DDiS 200 engine is 66kW at 4000 rpm. The car delivers a peak torque of 200 Nm at 1750 rpm.

Talking about the dimensions, the length of Vitara Brezza is 3995 mm, width is 1790mm and the height being 1640mm. The tyre size of the car is 215/60R16 and 210/60R16.

The Boot Space capacity of Vitara Brezza is 328 Litres and Minimum Ground Clearance of Vitara Brezza is 198 mm.

Vitara Brezza colors is available in both single tone and dual-tone colour trims.

The single tone Vitara Brezza colors include Arctic White, Premium Silver, Granite Gray, Blazing Red,
Cerulean Blue and Fiery Yellow while the Dual tone colors in the ZDi+ variant includes Blazing red with midnight black, cerulean blue with arctic white and fiery yellow with arctic white.
