Bajaj Dominar 400 Images Revealed Before Launch
The launch of Bajaj Dominar 400 is scheduled to happen on 15th December 2016 which is few days away from today. Even before its official launch, photos of production version of new Bajaj Dominar 400 has been spotted.
When launched, Bajaj Dominar 400 shall take on the likings of motorcycles in higher cc segments like Mahindra Mojo. The price of Bajaj Dominar 400 is expected to be around INR 1.8 lakhs. If well received by Indian two wheeler crowd, the all new Dominar shall even eat up the sales of models like Royal Enfield which is consistently doing well here. Bajaj is portraying this product as powerful cruiser for Indian audience.
Many sources have reported that Bajaj Dominar 400 shall be powered by same 373cc engine from the KTM Duke 390. We will get to know more about it when the motorcycle is available in the market.
The photos that are floating on Internet are of white colored Dominor 400. The Bajaj Dominar 400 is going to be priced pretty aggressively. Bajaj Dominor 400 could revolutionise the 400cc segment with an attractive pricing.
The fuel tank of Bajaj Dominar is expected to be of 16 litres and the motorcycle also gets mono shock rear suspension. The Dominar 400 will be getting LEDs in the headlamp and also at the tail lamp.
Bajaj Dominar 400 Engine Details
The Dominar 400 will be powered by 373cc engine which is capable of churning out 34bhp of power and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission gearbox. Bajaj Dominar is also expected to be offered in 43bhp of power. This engine of Dominar 400 shares some of its parts with the Duke 390 engine. While the lower variant of Dominar 400 is expected to get single channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), the higher version would be getting the dual channel ABS.

Bajaj Dominar 400 will take on rivals like Royal Enfield, Mahindra Mojo, KTM Duke 390, BMW G310R and TVS Akula 310.

The expected mileage of Bajaj Dominar 400 in city condition is 35 Kmpl and 40 Kmpl in highways.
Expect the top speed of Dominar 400 to be around 155 km/hr.
