Hero MotoCorp Rides into the United Kingdom | Now in 51 Countries

Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, officially enters its 51st international market, the UK, in partnership with MotoGB. The launch features the Euro 5+ compliant Hunk 440, a premium motorcycle designed for performance and accessibility.

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters for over 24 years , today announced its official entry into the United Kingdom in partnership with MotoGB. This strategic move, following successful expansions in Italy and Spain , marks the company’s 51st international market, further strengthening its footprint across Europe.

Hero MotoCorp Expands to UK

Hero MotoCorp is set to introduce its advanced Euro 5+ range to the UK market, led by the highly anticipated Hunk 440. The company aims to make premium motorcycles accessible for both first-time riders and enthusiasts alike.

Mr. Sanjay Bhan, Executive Vice President, Hero MotoCorp, said that the UK entry marks a “defining milestone in our global expansion journey”.

Strategic Partnership and Network

Hero MotoCorp has partnered with MotoGB Ltd., a Lancashire-based distributor with over 40 years of experience supplying two-wheelers in the UK. MotoGB operates the largest motorcycle and scooter dealer network in the UK.

  • Initial Network: MotoGB will make the product range available initially through a network of 25+ official sales and service outlets.
  • Expansion Target: The partnership plans to expand to 35+ locations by 2026.
  • Support: An extensive network of authorized dealers and technical service centres will provide seamless after-sales service and commercial support.

Matt Kay, General Manager of MotoGB, commented that the partnership will “offer riders a unique combination of technology and value that will resonate deeply with consumers in the United Kingdom”.

The Hunk 440 is the flagship model leading the launch. It embodies the company’s “You Are Limitless” brand philosophy, empowering riders to express their individuality.

The Hunk 440 is E5+ and EU-compliant and is positioned in the sought-after A2 performance category.

  • Engine Power: Delivers a peak power of 27 bhp @ 6,000 rpm.
  • Torque: Features exceptional low-end torque of 36.0 Nm @ 4,000 rpm.
  • Chassis: Built on a high tensile steel trellis frame for high-speed stability and superior handling.
  • Suspension: Enhanced by USD Cartridge Forks by KYB.
  • Braking: Designed with dual-channel ABS featuring large 320mm front and 240mm rear discs.
  • Technology: Includes a full-digital & connected TFT display, turn-by-turn navigation, and all-LED lighting.
