Electric mobility is rapidly evolving, but some milestones completely redefine what we consider possible in the EV space. Harish Surampade, an adventurous Ultraviolette customer, has shattered expectations by riding his F77 MACH 2 an astounding 146,000 km in just two years. This remarkable feat has earned him two prestigious world records and cemented the F77 MACH 2 as a highly capable, durable touring machine.

Redefining Electric Vehicle Endurance

Over the course of 24 months, Harish took his electric motorcycle across every single state in India. His journey wasn’t just a standard highway cruise; it was a grueling test of endurance that saw him reach 13 international borders. By pushing the electric motorcycle to its absolute limits across varying climates and extreme terrains, Harish has demonstrated that electric motorcycles are built for serious endurance and long-distance travel.

Ultraviolette F77 MACH 2 World Record

Two World Records Conquered

Harish’s 146,000 km journey was officially recognized on a global scale. He now holds two distinct world records:

1. Kalam’s World Records

Harish secured this record by completing the first electric bike expedition across six international borders in just 19 days.

  • He covered over 3,000 km through incredibly difficult and extreme terrains.
  • The route included Panitanki, Korala, Jaigaon, Nathu La, Batang La Tri Junction, and Fulbari.
  • He faced plunging temperatures, dropping as low as -10°C in Upper Mustang near the Korala Border.
  • Notably, the F77 MACH 2 became the first-ever EV to be granted a permit for the treacherous Nathu La Pass.

2. World Records India

In another historic achievement, Harish achieved the Longest Distance Cross-Country Expedition on an electric bike.

  • This specific cross-country expedition started and concluded in Bangalore.
  • Over a span of 600 days, he covered 120,000 km of his total distance across all Indian states.
  • He conquered two of the highest motorable passes in the world: Khardung La and Umling La.
  • The motorcycle endured extreme weather fluctuations, performing flawlessly in temperatures ranging from -15°C to a blistering +48°C.

Unmatched Battery Health and Sustainability Impact

One of the most significant concerns for potential EV buyers is battery degradation over time and high mileage. Harish’s F77 MACH 2 puts those fears to rest. Even after clocking an incredible 146,000 km, the battery health of his motorcycle remains at a highly impressive 95%. This highlights the remarkable durability and efficiency engineered into the Ultraviolette platform.

Beyond performance, this record-breaking expedition showcased the massive environmental and economic benefits of switching to electric mobility. Here is a breakdown of the total savings and consumption data recorded during the 146,000 km journey:

  • Total Distance Covered: 146,000 km
  • Fuel Saved: 5,763 Liters
  • Financial Savings: ₹593,617 saved on fuel costs
  • Energy Consumed: 6,999 kWh
  • Energy Recovered: 97 kWh
  • Carbon Footprint Reduced: 9,468 kg of carbon emissions saved

The Future of Sustainable Adventure

Harish Surampade’s monumental journey serves as a powerful testament to the future of mobility. By taking his Ultraviolette F77 MACH 2 through unimaginable conditions, he proved that electric motorcycles can redefine sustainable adventure. His achievements symbolize a new era where performance, resilience, and environmental sustainability converge, inspiring riders in India and across the world to embrace the electric revolution with pride.
