Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, maintained its upward growth trajectory in July 2026, reporting total dispatches of 533,416 units. This compares to 449,755 units during the same period last year, reflecting a robust 19% year-on-year growth.
VIDA SUSTAINS STRONG RETAIL MOMENTUM; EXPANDS GLOBAL FOOTPRINT
VIDA, Hero MotoCorp’s Emerging Mobility business unit, sustained its strong performance in July 2026 with dispatch of 22,714 units. The business expanded its international footprint with its first global debut into Nepal, marking a significant milestone in Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility journey. VIDA also unveiled its refreshed brand identity, VOOM, and introduced a new high-capacity 4.4 kWh variant, offering enhanced range and performance.

DOMESTIC ICE BUSINESS MAINTAINS ROBUST RETAIL MOMENTUM
The Company’s domestic ICE business recorded dispatches 478,689 units in July 2026, compared to 401,171 units in the same period last year, reflecting approximately 19% year-on-year growth.
This sustained momentum was driven by healthy retail performance across key segments. Both Splendor and new Passion maintained strong retail traction, complemented by robust performance from the Glamour X and upgraded Super Splendor XTEC 2.0. The scooter portfolio also delivered significant growth, with the Destini and Xoom series leading the category. Complementing its operational milestones, Hero MotoCorp launched a new marketing initiative for the Hero Destini, titled “Hero Ka Scooter, Scooter Ka Hero.” Centered on imaginative storytelling, the campaign highlights the heartwarming bond between a father and daughter, positioning the Destini as a trusted family partner.

GLOBAL BUSINESS EXPANDS ITS MARKET PRESENCE
The Company’s Global Business unit recorded dispatches of 32,013 units in July 2026, driven by aggressive international expansion. Strengthening its global presence, the company officially entered Ecuador and Germany. The entry into Germany marks a major milestone as Hero MotoCorp’s 53rd global market, reinforcing its strategy to deliver sustainable, premium mobility solutions to international markets.
COMMITMENT TO “MAKE IN INDIA FOR INDIA AND THE WORLD” CONTINUES
In a significant move to strengthen its operational foundation and supply chain network, Hero MotoCorp laid the foundation stone for its second state-of-the-art Global Parts Center (GPC) in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. This new facility will serve as a strategic hub for domestic and export spare parts logistics. Furthermore, the expansion aims to scale up annual production capacity at the Tirupati plant—where 100% of Hero MotoCorp’s EV portfolio is engineered and built. Coupled with ongoing investments in Ather Energy and EV ecosystems, this move underscores the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility and long-term vision.
