Aprilia SR 125 Might Make an Entry in Auto Expo 2018
Aprilia SR 150 Scooter from Piaggio found good acceptance in India. Back in May 2017, Piaggio was expected to launch Aprilia SR 125 premium scooter to further expand its presence in the scooter segment. Aprilia SR 125 scooter is reportedly expected to be showcased in Auto Expo 2018. Aprilia SR 125 scooter shall share same design language as that of SR 150. The aggressive and sporty looks of Aprilia SR 150 scooter shall be retained in Aprilia’s 125cc scooter.
The Aprilia branding on scooters make it an attractive choice for a buyer. Aprilia SR 125 scooter gets
butterfly shaped headlight at the centre of the front cowl. The Italian bikemaker claims that the design emphasises on scooter’s sportiness. The Aprilia range of scooters provides better illumination beating the brightness of conventional headlamps.

The scooter gets a black detailing around the headlamps along with a neat paint scheme and handlebar that gets mounted on turn indicators to enhance the visual appeal of the new 125 cc premium scooter.
The twin-pod instrument cluster of Aprilia SR 125 features digital display. The Aprilia SR 125 offers generous legroom at the footboard area, whereas the dual-tone seat has been designed to offer comfortable riding experience. The side panel of Aprilia SR 125 gets a sporty and attractive decals.
The rear profile of Aprilia SR 125 gets a sharp look with crafted looking taillight and split grab bar enhancing the overall sportiness of the SR 125. Aprilia SR 125’s exhaust comes with an upward position just like the 150cc scooter. The 125 cc engine of Aprilia SR 125 churns out a maximum power of 10.06 hp and 10.6 Nm of peak torque. The engine unit is borrowed from Vespa VXL.
The Aprilia SR 125 gets a 14-inch alloy wheels with five double spokes wrapped with meaty tyres. Piaggio Aprilia has not yet confirmed the exact launch date of the scooter but will be very likely be shown at Auto Expo 2018.
