Bajaj Auto records 5% Domestic Sales Growth in FY2017

Bajaj Auto, India’s prominent 2 Wheeler manufacturer has announced the sales report for the financial year 2017 ( April 2016 to March 2017). As per the released sales report, Bajaj has gained 5% growth in domestic sales when compared to sales in financial year 2016.

Bajaj Motorcycles Sales in FY2017

Bajaj Auto has sold 20,01,391 units of motorcycles between April 2016 to March 2017 ( FY2017) as compared to 18,98,957 motorcycles in March 2016 (In domestic market). The addition of motorcycles in the FY2017 has resulted in 5% growth in motorcycle numbers.

Bajaj Commercial vehicles sales in FY2017

When it comes to commercial vehicles, Bajaj Auto has managed to sell 2,53,226 vehicles in FY2017 as compared to 2,54,995 vehicles in FY2016. The domestic sales of commercial vehicles have decreased by 1%

Bajaj Total Sales in FY 2017

To sum it all, Bajaj has sold 22,54,617 vehicles ( combined motorcycles and commercial vehicles) as compared to 21,53,952 vehicles (motorcycles + CV). the company has posted a overall domestic sales growth of 5% in FY 2017.
