Honda Cars India, country’s popular car manufacturer announced the launch of BS6 compliant Honda City in sedan. Currently, Honda City has been launched in the BS6 compliant petrol variant only. The launch of Honda City Diesel BS6 should happen close to the deadline in March 2020. The all new Honda City Petrol BS6 is priced starting at Rs 9.91 lakhs.
Mr Rajesh Goel, Sr. Vice President & Director, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd, said,
Honda is committed to bring its latest and advanced environment friendly technologies to the Indian market in line with the policy framework of Government of India. The launch of BS6 Honda City will be followed by sequential introduction of BS6 versions of other models in our line-up.
He further added,
The new Digipad 2.0 in the Honda City will provide enhanced features, along with greater access and connectivity on the go to our customers, thereby delivering ease and convenience.
BS6 Honda City Petrol Price List
Following is the full price list of updated 2020 Honda City Petrol BS6 variant. Honda calls this as “Enriched grades” of Honda City, but the diesel variants of Honda City still remains BS4.
While the base model (SV MT) of 2020 Model Year Honda City Petrol BS6 is priced at Rs 9.91 lakhs, the top trim ZX CVT Petrol BS6 variant of Honda City is priced at Rs 14.31 lakhs. All the trims above SV MT gets Digipad 2.0 features. In the BS6 petrol variant, Honda City gets both manual and CVT gearbox. The all new Honda City Petrol BS6 Automatic (CVT) is priced at Rs 12.01 lakhs for the V CVT variant, where as the ZX CVT variant (BS6 compliant) is priced at Rs 14.31 lakhs ( Ex-showroom India).
