BYD India, a subsidiary of BYD, the world’s leading NEV (New Energy Vehicle) manufacturer, on the launch anniversary of the BYD SEAL announced major product enhancements for the BYD SEAL luxury electric sedan and the BYD ATTO 3, India’s first sporty born eSUV. These upgrades focus on improving performance, comfort, technology, and the driving experience, further solidifying BYD’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. The BYD SEAL has achieved a leading position in its segment, with nearly 1,300 units sold in its first year.
BYD ATTO 3 MODEL YEAR 2025
The upgrades to the BYD ATTO 3 are built on the success from achieving sales of over 3,100 units since its launch. The BYD ATTO 3 receives several key updates, making it more appealing to Indian customers. The interior now boasts an all-new black décor with driver and front passenger ventilated seats adding a touch of sophistication and gravitas to its already stylish cabin. This enhancement provides a more premium feel, aligning with the expectations of discerning Indian customers.
Furthermore, the BYD ATTO 3’s low-voltage battery has been upgraded to a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery. This upgrade offers significant benefits, including a six-times lighter weight compared to conventional low-voltage batteries, five-times better self-discharge consumption, and an impressive 15-year lifespan. BYD ATTO 3 MY 2025 is the 1st in segment model to get the superior, longer-lasting Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Low-voltage battery, this ensures greater reliability and longevity, providing peace of mind to BYD ATTO 3 owners.
In addition, keeping with the festive spirit of the Anniversary celebrations, the BYD ATTO 3 MY 2025 will be available at ex-showroom prices from the year 2024 for the first 3,000 customers.

BYD SEAL MODEL YEAR 2025
After selling 1,300 units within a year, the BYD SEAL electric sedan also sees a slew of updates for 2025. Inside the cabin, every BYD SEAL now comes standard with a power sunshade for added comfort and convenience. A new silver-plated dimming canopy enhances the cabin’s ambience, creating a more refined and luxurious feel. The air-conditioning system has also been upgraded with a larger compressor capacity and an all-new module for air purification.
The Premium version of the BYD SEAL is now equipped with Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD) offering a more refined drive experience. Previously present only in the Performance variant, FSD technology allows the suspension to adapt to different road conditions, balancing comfort and handling, enhancing the driving experience and comfort for customers who opt for the Premium variant, too.
The Performance trim of the BYD SEAL also sees the debut of the innovative DiSus-C system. This intelligent damping system provides enhanced stability and comfort by dynamically adjusting the dampers based on thousands of inputs per second. DiSus-C improves comfort by softening the suspension on bumpy roads and enhances handling by stiffening it during dynamic manoeuvres like cornering, acceleration, and braking.
The BYD SEAL also receives a significant upgrade in its entertainment system. All BYD SEAL models now support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration, allowing drivers to access their favourite apps and content effortlessly. The interiors of the BYD SEAL are now equipped with an all-new sound wave function. It produces analog sound that stimulates sound waves to optimise the driving experience and improve the acoustic experience inside the cabin.
Bookings for BYD SEAL 2025 start from 11th March 2025 at INR 1,25,000. Pricing for all the MY2025 BYD SEAL variants will be announced in April 2025.
