Chevrolet Trailblazer launched in India at Rs 26.4 Lakhs

The much awaited big SUV from General Motors, the Chevrolet Trailblazer was launched in India today at INR 26.4 lakhs.

Mr Arvind Saxena, who is the President and MD at General Motors India said during the launch occasion,

Chevrolet Trailblazer Engine and Specifications

Under the hood, Chevrolet Trailblazer’s 2.8 litre, 4 cylinder, turbo diesel engine delivers a maximum power of 197bhp. The engine of Trailblazer is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox. The Trailblazer’s sub-10 second (9.89 second to be precise) 0-100kph time makes it the quickest SUV of its class.

Chevrolet Trailblazer Exteriors

The Chevrolet Trailblazer exteriors would get first-in-class projector headlamps and fog lamps up front. The Trailblazer as we mentioned as a “Big SUV” comes with a seating capacity of seven. When we talk about the interiors of Trailblazer SUV, the car gets a black and beige dual- tone theme. The Camaro-style hooded instrument cluster with blue backlighting gives it a more classy look.

Other features of the car includes leather seats that comes with electrical driver-seat adjustment, a 50:50 seat-split, foldable seats in the third row ( that can be used for boot space), cruise control, steering- mounted audio controls. The SUV gets 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system with bluetooth connectivoty, AUX and USB-enabled six-speaker audio system.

The Trailblazer family SUV shall directly take on likings of its rivals like Toyota Fortuner.

While bookings for Trailblazer were accepted in various Chevrolet showrooms across the country, General Motors has also tied up with Amazon in order to help its prospective customers to book/buy the car online.
