The Pune Based auto maker Bajaj, sent out a statement today regarding the hike in price of Bajaj budget friendly two wheelers. According to the reports, the price of Platina and Discover models may go up. The increase in price is mainly due to the increase in input costs.
In the statement, “We plan to hike prices of Discover and Platina models in January. We have not hiked the prices of these models so far,” Bajaj Auto Ltd President (Motorcycle) Eric Vas said to PTI.
We are not sure about the range of price inflation. We will keep you updated with this in the upcoming spots.
As far as, Bajaj is considered the Sales of its motorcycle declined about 6% in November 2014. Early Bajaj, hiked the price of Pulsar by around Rs.1,000.
This price rise comes into action from January 2015.
