Force Motors Achieves Landmark 200,000th Mercedes-Benz Engine Milestone

On June 17, 2026, Force Motors Limited announced the roll-out of its 200,000th engine from the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Chakan, Pune. This momentous event highlights an enduring partnership between Force Motors and Mercedes-Benz that spans over five decades.

A Legacy of Indo-German Collaboration

According to Mr. Prasan Firodia, Managing Director of Force Motors Limited, the 200,000th engine serves as “the living story of a half-century-long partnership built on trust, precision and shared purpose”. This relationship is recognized as one of the most prominent examples of Indo-German industrial collaboration, elevating automotive manufacturing standards within the country.

By successfully delivering German-quality engineering from Indian soil, the partnership strongly underpins the national ‘Make in India’ vision. The Chakan facility itself was purpose-built to meet the exacting global standards set by Mercedes-Benz.
