Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters for over 24 consecutive years, today announced its official entry into France. This strategic expansion, achieved through a partnership with distributor GD France, marks the company’s 52nd international market and significantly deepens its presence in Europe following recent successful launches in Italy, Spain, and the UK.

The French debut was marked by an exclusive event at the renowned UTAC Mortefontaine proving ground near Paris, featuring immersive riding experiences of the launch model, the Hunk 440. With a global customer base exceeding 125 million, this move reinforces Hero MotoCorp’s position among the world’s leading motorcycle manufacturers.

Hero MotoCorp has partnered with GD France, a major player in motorized mobility in France since 2004, specializing in the distribution of two- and four-wheeled vehicles.

  • Initial Network: GD France will initially offer the Hero MotoCorp product range through 30+ official sales and service outlets across major cities in France.
  • Expansion Plan: The network is planned to expand to 50+ dealers by 2026, with full network deployment targeted by 2028.
  • After-Sales Support: An extensive network will provide seamless after-sales service, spare parts, and accessories from GD France’s headquarters in Rousset.
