Entering FY2023-24 with positivity, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) today announced its sales numbers for the month of April 2023.
The first month of FY2023-24 witnessed HMSI’s total sales (domestic & exports) close at 374,747 units, with 338,289 two-wheeler sales in domestic market. On overseas exports business front, HMSI exported 36,458 units for the month.
Key Highlights of April 2023:
- Management Change – HMSI announced the appointment of Mr. Tsutsumu Otani as the new President, CEO & Managing Director of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India.
- Corporate- Strengthening its penetration in the state of Maharashtra & Uttar Pradesh, HMSI inaugurated its new Zonal office in Nagpur & Lucknow, respectively.
- Product – HMSI launched its two new models – the OBD2 compliant 2023 SP 125 & Activa125 in Uttar Pradesh.
- Road Safety- HMSI and Hyderabad Traffic Police celebrated the 8th year anniversary of its Traffic Training Park in Goshamahal (Hyderabad). The company also conducted Road Safety Awareness Campaign in Jaipur (Rajasthan), Dadri & Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), and Bongaigaon (Assam).
