Gurugram, June 12, 2026 – Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has announced the expansion of its premium motorcycle portfolio with the introduction of the 2026 CB750 Hornet E-Clutch and XL750 Transalp E-Clutch. This release officially brings Honda’s E-Clutch technology to its 755cc platform in the Indian market. Alongside the middleweight introductions, the company announced a new color update for the Gold Wing luxury tourer and confirmed the continuation of the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP as its flagship supersport offering. Bookings for the updated lineup are now open nationwide at Honda Topline and BigWing dealerships.

The integration of E-Clutch technology on the 755cc platform targets improved usability across diverse riding conditions, ranging from heavy urban commuting to long-distance touring. Mr. Tsutsumu Otani, President and CEO of HMSI, noted that the technology is designed to offer greater comfort, ease of use, and riding confidence, reflecting Honda’s commitment to delivering advanced engineering to Indian riders. Leveraging its position as a wholly owned subsidiary of Honda Motor Co., Ltd., Japan, HMSI utilizes its global engineering infrastructure—which includes four manufacturing plants in India—to support and supply its domestic mobility portfolio.

The motorcycle features Showa 41mm SFF-BP USD front forks, dual 296 mm front disc brakes, and a 5.0-inch full-color TFT display equipped with Honda RoadSync connectivity.
