Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is set to revolutionize the electric vehicle (EV) landscape with the upcoming launch of the much-anticipated Hyundai CRETA Electric at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Designed to combine innovative technology, all-around safety and electrifying performance, the Hyundai CRETA Electric is poised to become the go-to electric SUV for Indian customers.

  • In-car Payment: The Hyundai CRETA Electric takes convenience to the next level by allowing customers to pay for EV charging directly from the vehicle’s infotainment screen. With access to more than 1,150 EV chargers across India, charging is made hassle-free and seamless taking a leap towards the future of car-as-a payment platform.
  • Digital Key: Embracing the future of smart technology, Hyundai CRETA Electric offers Digital Key, enabling users to lock, unlock and start the vehicle using the smartphone or smartwatch.
  • ADAS Linked Regenerative Braking System: The Hyundai CRETA Electric offers ADAS linked regenerative braking system that automatically senses the distance from the vehicle ahead and accordingly adjusts the regenerative braking level.
  • Shift-by-Wire (SBW): The Hyundai CRETA Electric features a column type design – Shift-by-wire system, offering intuitive gear control with enhanced convenience and a futuristic driving experience.
  • Single Pedal Drive (i-Pedal): The Hyundai CRETA Electric comes equipped with i-Pedal technology that enables the driver to accelerate, decelerate and come to a complete stop using only the accelerator pedal. The car will come to a complete stop just by taking off the feet from the accelerator.
  • Vehicle-to-Load (V2L): Whether you’re camping or in need of an emergency power source, the Hyundai CRETA Electric enables you to power your gadgets and appliances both inside and outside the vehicle, ensuring you never run out of power.
  • Dual Curvilinear Screens: The 26.03cm (10.25”) Dual Curvilinear screen with HD infotainment and a digital cluster provide a futuristic cockpit experience, with all the important EV specific information available with one touch.
  • Premium in-car experience: The Hyundai CRETA Electric is equipped with Bose premium sound 8 speaker system offering enhanced audio quality. With complimentary[v] in-car music streaming via Jio Saavan subscription, your favorite tunes are always just a tap away.
  • Advanced Climate Control: The Hyundai CRETA Electric features touch type Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control (DATC) with driver-only mode and ventilated front seats for maximizing comfort. The vehicle is also equipped with cooled glove box and front armrest with cooled storage.
  • Intelligent Voice Commands: With 268 embedded voice commands, including a voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof, the Hyundai CRETA Electric ensures you have complete control of the car.

All-Around Safety

The Hyundai CRETA Electric is engineered to offer all-around safety to its occupants, with a range of advanced features to provide peace of mind on every journey:

  • Strong Body Structure: The vehicle is built with enhanced use of Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS), and High Strength Steel (HSS), with an extensive application of hot stamping to assure superior protection. It ensures a robust and protective frame that contributes to a safe driving experience.
  • Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS: 19 tech-enabled safety functions, including Lane Keeping Assist, Forward Collision Warning and Blind Spot Collision Warning, Smart Cruise control with stop and go, Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS deliver a comprehensive safety suite.
  • More than 75 advanced safety features and 52 safety features as standard across all variants envelop customers in a safety cocoon.

  • Powerful and Efficient Battery: Available in two variants, the Hyundai CRETA Electric is powered by a 51.4 kWh battery pack (long-range) offering 473 km on full charge and a 42 kWh battery pack offering 390 km of range.
  • Powerful Performance: 51.4 kWh battery pack (long-range) variant generates 126 kW (171 PS) of power and the 42 kWh battery pack variant offers 99 kW (135 PS) power.
  • Battery Heater: The battery heater ensures maximized charging performance and range in cold weather conditions.
  • 11 kW Smart Connected Wall Box Charger: The Hyundai CRETA Electric can get charged from 10% to 100% in just 4 hours using the 11 kW smart connected wall box charger (AC Home Charging). The charger comes with smart connectivity and users can operate it directly from myHyundai App.
