Hyundai Creta S+ Diesel Automatic launched at INR 13.56 Lacs

Recipient of Indian Car of the Year 2016 (ICOTY) award, new Hyundai Creta has been one of the best-selling SUV in India ever since it was launched last year.

Creta is the compact SUV from Hyundai which has created waves across the country. Creta has created many records and has become one of the best selling SUVs in India in recent times.

With more and more people showing interest towards Creta, Hyundai India has now revealed a very new variant to its line-up. The new variant which has been added is called “S Plus Diesel Automatic“. The all new Hyundai Creta S Plus Diesel automatic has been priced at INR 13.56 Lakhs ( ex-showroom Delhi). The new S+ Diesel variant introduced happens to be Rs 1.06 lakhs cheaper than the existing Diesel AT version .

Hyundai saw a tremendous success soon after the introduction of Hyundai Creta in July last year. The popularity of Creta grew like anything taking on its powerful rivals like Renault Duster, Ford EcoSport and others. The South Korean automaker, Hyundai has now registered about 1 lakh bookings since its launch. To meet the growing demand, the production of the car had to be stepped up aimed to decrease waiting period for customers.

Hyundai India has invested Rs 1000 crores into the landmark Creta project. The all new Hyundai Creta is offered in 6 trim levels: Base, S, S Plus, SX, SX Plus and SX(O). Some of the stand-out features of Hyundai Creta include engine Start/Stop, auto air-conditioning, projector headlamps and LED DRLs. The interiors of the car are seen with flexible seating arrangement as well as steering mounted audio controls. The Creta also offers leather seats, 5 inch touchscreen audio system, electric folding ORRVMs and dual airbags with side and curtain airbags.

Hyundai Creta Engine Specifications

Creta is offered in different engine options – the 1.6 litre Dual VTVT petrol engine offering 123 PS of power, a U2 1.4 litre CRDi engine which is capable of churning out 90 PS power and a U2 1.6 liter CRDi VGT engine offering 128 PS peak power.

Talking about the dimensions, Hyundai Creta measures 4270 mm in length, 1780 mm in width and 1630 mm in height. The wheelbase of Hyundai Creta measures 2590mm where as the ground clearance offered by the car is 200mm.
