Hyundai Motor India Ltd, the country’s second largest passenger car manufacturer today announced revision of prices post GST Cess amendment on Hyundai ELITE i20, NEXT GEN Hyundai VERNA, Hyundai CRETA, Hyundai Elantra and Hyundai TUCSON while the price on its compact cars and sedan remains unaffected. Very recently Hyundai India had condemned Government’s move to increase GST Cess on Cars.
The price hike will range from 2 to 5%. The new prices are effective from September 11, 2017. Revised price range on Ex-showroom Delhi is as follows :
- Hyundai Elite i20 (1.4 L Petrol AT only): INR 12,547
- Hyundai Next Gen Verna: Upto INR 29,090
- Hyundai Creta: INR 20,900 – INR 55,375
- Hyundai Elantra: INR 50,312 – INR 75,991
- Hyundai Tucson: INR 64,828 – INR 84,867
