Kia India, a leading mass-premium automaker, has announced a significant executive appointment. Mr. Atul Sood is now the Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, effective July 11, 2025. He will report directly to Mr. Joonsu Cho, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India, and will spearhead the brand’s nationwide sales strategy and operations.

Mr. Sood brings nearly three decades of rich experience in the automotive industry to Kia India. Most recently, he served as President and Director at Toyota Mobility Solutions and Services India (TMSS). Prior to this, he held impactful roles at Toyota Kirloskar Motors and Toyota Motor Asia Pacific.
His impressive track record includes pan-India business growth, extensive dealer network expansion, and customer-centric innovations. These strengths position him as a key driver for bolstering Kia’s leadership in the Indian market and accelerating its next phase of growth. Mr. Sood holds a PGDM in Marketing from Symbiosis Centre for Management & HRD (SCMHRD, Pune) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.
