Mahindra & Mahindra, popular Indian automobile manufacturer has launched the facelift version of XUV 500 at a price starting from INR 11.21 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The much awaited, new age XUV 500, as the company calls it, comes with a plenty of changes both in the outlook as well as in the interiors.
Mahindra XUV500 Facelift – Few Design Changes
The front fascia of the facelift version has been completely redesigned that boasts a new set of projector headlamps with ‘S’ shaped daytime running LEDs. The car comes with a new bumper with much wider air dam, brand new alloy wheels and a plenty of chrome garnishing on the grille, fog-lamps and few exterior changes here and there.

There are some major additions in the the new facelift XUV500 when compared to the old one –

The engine of the new XUV500 remains the same and continues to use 2.2 litre 4-cylinder mHawk diesel engine that churns out a maximum power of 140 bhp @ 3,750 RPM and delivers a peak torque of 330 Nm @ 1600-2800 RPM. By default the car gets a 6-speed manual gearbox with 2WD and 4WD (AWD) options.
Price of Mahindra XUV500
When it comes to 2WD variants of new XUV500 variants there are 4 different versions – The W4 version of XUV500 is available for sale at 11.21 Lakhs. The W6 version of XUV500 is available for sale at 12.49 Lakhs. The W8 version of XUV500 is available for sale at 14.18 Lakhs. The top-notch version, W10 of XUV500 costs 14.99 lakh rupees.
Talking about the AWD variants of XUV500 it is priced slightly higher than its 2WD counterpart: The W8 version in AWD costs 14.99 lakhs and the W10 version in AWS costs INR 15.99 lakhs.
