Japanese car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki had recently organized a customer centric off-road event called “Rock N Road” in Bengaluru on March 9th and 10th. As you know “Rock N Road” is an adventure platform created by Maruti Suzuki for the off-road enthusiasts. Maruti Suzuki regularly organizes these off-road events across major cities in India. One such off-road event happened in Bengaluru where more than 40 participants took part in the event which also served as qualifiers for Bengaluru. The event commenced at a off-road specific track called “Dirty Drivez” near Thavarekere quite outside Bengaluru.
There were two levels – and there were two different tracks for the off-road enthusiasts to test their driving skills and also Jimny’s ability. The track in the level 1 was quite challenging with a muddy terrain and the trail composing of uneven surfaces and deep curves where the participants tested the hill climbing and water wading ability of Jimny. The qualified contestants ( the one who finished the entire trail in less duration) moved to level 2 which had even tougher track. It was a very hot day in Bengaluru , but the off-road enthusiasts participated with great spirit driving their respective Jimnys.
