Maruti Swift DZire Diesel now available in AMT variant
India’s leading 4-wheeler manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has launched its popular DZire Diesel in AMT version. The AMT variant of Maruti Suzuki Dzire was not present in the market. Now the company has introduced the AMT gearbox for the diesel variant of Maruti Swift DZire. The AMT gearbox would be made available on the top-end ZDi and has been priced at INR 8.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The fuel efficiency of Maruti Swift Dzire is 26.59 kmpl.
Mr R S Kalsi, who is the executive Director Marketing & Sales at Maruti Suzuki said,
Auto Gear Shift, a two-pedal technology, enables customers to drive with comfort and convenience, especially in congested city conditions. This convenience is available to them at an attractive price, without any compromise on fuel efficiency. Maruti Suzuki introduced the AGS technology in India with Celerio and we currently offer it in Alto K10 and WagonR also. It has been very well accepted by customers. We are delighted to now offer Auto Gear Shift technology in DZire diesel as well.
Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire will be the first ever car in its segment to offer an automatic diesel driveline, and the pricing of the car has been very aggressive too.
