Mercedes-Benz India has officially redefined the luxury personal mobility segment with the launch of the all-new V-Class Extra-Long Wheelbase (LWB). Marketed as a “private suite on wheels,” this luxury MPV is designed to cater to the growing demand for exclusive, secure, and serene personal space among India’s elite.

Local Production and Pricing

In a significant move reinforcing its “Make in India” commitment, Mercedes-Benz announced that it will commence local production of the V-Class. This marks the second product the company has slated for local production this year, following the Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV.

The all-new V-Class is introduced at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.4 crore across India. Bookings are currently open with a formal amount of Rs. 5 lakh, which secures the introductory pricing for customers. Existing Mercedes-Benz customers will receive priority delivery.


Performance and Powertrain Options

For the first time in the Indian market, the V-Class is available with a petrol engine option alongside its diesel counterpart. Both variants are paired with the 9G-TRONIC transmission.+2

India is the first market globally to offer the specialized AIRMATIC air suspension as standard on both petrol and diesel powertrains. This system has been specifically tuned for Indian road conditions to ensure maximum driving comfort and regulated damping.


Unrivaled Interior Luxury and Space

The V-Class features an extra-long wheelbase configuration (3430mm) with a total length of 5370mm, allowing for a sophisticated 6-seat layout.

  • First-Class Seating: The second row consists of luxury individual seats featuring 3-stage ventilation, massage functions, calf support, and wireless charging.
  • Segment-First Features: The V-Class is the first vehicle in its class to offer ventilated third-row seats.
  • Cabin Ambience: The interior is equipped with 64-colour ambient lighting and a Burmester surround sound system with Dolby Atmos, featuring 15 speakers and a 640 W output.
  • Convenience: Dual electric sliding doors and an electrically operable split tailgate come as standard, providing ease of access even in confined spaces.

Advanced Safety and Technology

The V-Class is positioned as the safest vehicle in its segment, featuring 7 standard airbags with window airbags extending from the A to D pillar.

Standard safety and driver assistance features include:

  • Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC and Active Lane Keeping Assist.
  • Blind Spot Assist with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
  • 360-degree camera with a 3D surround view and 12 ultrasonic sensors.
  • ATTENTION ASSIST supported by a dedicated driver camera.
  • MULTIBEAM LED headlamps with 84 individually controllable LEDs per module.
