MG Motor India delivers 201 EVs on a single day in Bengaluru

JSW MG Motor India today announced the delivery of 201 EVs in a single day in Bangalore. As another validation of its commitment to encouraging the adoption of electric vehicles, the company delivered 201 units of its EVs, including MG Windsor – India’s First Intelligent CUV, MG ZS EV – India’s first Pure Electric Internet SUV, and MG Comet – The Street-Smart Car. Adding to this achievement, Bengaluru Airport Taxi has gone green with the deployment of 75 ZS EVs through Refex Green Mobility. The surge in consumer enthusiasm underscores the strong market reception for the company’s electric vehicles.

BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service) – Unique ownership program

JSW MG Motor India has introduced a unique EV ownership plan through its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) offering. This flexible ownership program eliminates the upfront cost of the battery, enabling customers to pay only for its usage. Under the unique Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program, MG Comet EV starts at ₹4.99 Lakh + battery rental @₹2.5/km*, Windsor is available at INR 9.99 Lakhs + battery rental @₹3.5/Km*, and the MG ZS EV is offered at ₹13.99 Lakh + battery rental @₹4.5/km*.

MG Comet – The Street-Smart Car is Big Inside and Compact Outside (BICO) offers 55+ connected features and i-SMART technology. Its agile and practical design along with a small turning radius enhances manoeuvrability in tight parking spaces and makes city driving convenient.

The MG Windsor recently reached a milestone by becoming the first passenger EV in India to garner 15,176 bookings within 24 hours of booking announcement and, in addition, became the most selling EV in the first month of its launch. MG Windsor combines the comfort of a sedan and the expanse of an SUV and is offered with an innovative aerodynamic design, spacious and opulent interiors, reassuring safety, smart connectivity and range of 332km**.

The MG ZS EV comes with premium features, spacious interiors, i-SMART technology, and over 75 connected car features. It offers a range of 461 km** which is suitable for long distance family drives.
