Modified Tata Nexon SRT Frozen Edition

The Tata Nexon is gaining traction among Indian car enthusiasts . To boost new generation customers, Tata motors is offering many dealer-level accessories and customisation kits for their new lineup. Tata Nexon also gets a lot of options to make it look different from the stock model. However, this Coimbatore-based Tata dealership has come up with a customised model of Tata Nexon called the SRT Frozen edition.

After Tata launched the official IPL edition Tata Nexon for Mumbai Indian team, many dealerships and customising teams started making new models for the various IPL teams. Coimbatore-based Tata dealership has used a matte yellow color all over the body with roof painted in black . The window beltline is given a grey color that makes the overall Nexon quite sportier.

The Nexon seen in this picture gets the same grey colour on the fog lamp housing, grille, and lower radiator grille adding a very unique presence to the vehicle. A body kit with side skirting and front bumper underlip spoiler are also added . Rest of the vehicle stays same and there is no mechanical changes .

All these visual changes is not going to warm any manufacturer’s warranty, But one has to get the new colour endorsed on the registration certificate of the vehicle.

The engine, however, remains the same. The Tata Nexon comes with both petrol and diesel engine options. There is a 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that puts out a maximum power of 108 bhp and 260 Nm of peak torque . The turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol unit produces a maximum of 108 Bhp and 170 Nm. Both the engine options are mated to a standard 6-speed manual transmission and optional 6-speed AMT automatic transmission.
