Jeep has revealed the new 2019 Jeep Renegade for Europe at the opening day of the Torino Motor Show, Valentino Park Italy on June 6.
The 2019 Jeep Renegade come with a lot of cosmetic changes makeing the SUV fresh and updated . In the front, the SUV gets a new, larger grille in matte grey finish and a pair of new LED projector headlamps, while the indicators, mounted on the fenders, are white instead of orange. The SUV also gets a nicer looking sculpted front bumper that houses a larger central airdam and new round LED foglamps. The plastic cladding is well-integrated with the bumper and extends up to the squared wheel arches that house a set of beefy twin-five-spoke alloy wheels. The SUV also gets revised outside rear-view mirrors with integrated turn signal lights, while the side and underbody cladding and roof rails look similar to the previous generation .
In The rear section there are no much changes apart from some minor tweaks , it looks more like the previous gen model . The taillamps have been revised a little and come with a smoked effect forming the signature X design with only the centre section receiving white treatment. The rear bumper has also been updated with two individual mesh panels on, brake lights and a rear skid plate and a trapezoidal exhaust system. Jeep hasn’t revealed the cabin yet, but based on the spy pics it is expected to come with a bunch of visual updates for this mid-cycle facelift.
The Jeep Renegade set a new benchmark in the B-SUV segment in 2014 by blending the legendary Jeep brand’s off-road capabilities with dimensions and styling perfect for enjoying the city lifestyle. The new model year 2019 will feature a refreshed look and new engines.
A new family of three and four-cylinder petrol engines was introduced –
- 1.0-litre delivering 120hp
- 1.3-litre engine in two states of tune 150hp and 180hp –
Both these Engine have better fuel efficiency and performance.
The new engine family will reassert the power and appeal of the jeep renegade in the segment, by staying ahead of the market and customer demands .
