Post the announcement of Maruti Suzuki’s S-Presso in the entry hatchback segment, Renault India has teased a new avatar of Kwid on its official website and social media channels. Kwid is Renault’s best selling model in India and has been well received by India since its launch in 2015.
For the first time when the Kwid hatchback was debuted, it came with a 800cc engine. Renault subsequently introduced 1 litre engine, Climber edition and more variants of Kwid. Kwid holds the badge of best-looking hatchback because of its bold and elegant SUVish design borrowing some of the design cues from Duster SUV. The digital and touchscreen infotainment system in KWID is one of the segment first in the auto industry.
